How Long Blood Normal After Antibiotics Recovery Time Of Perforated Appendix With Abscess Treated With Antibiotics?

Recovery time of perforated appendix with abscess treated with antibiotics? - how long blood normal after antibiotics

Because I had atypical symptoms of one weeks pain (very low in the abdomen, blood work normal, no fever or pain), the doctors could not diagnose appendicitis. TAC is only after they have been able to see the attachment on the back of the bladder. Abcsess was broken and formed. Thanks to its high risk, physicians have decided not to run, but was prescribed antibiotics intravenously (2 days), followed by 2 weeks after oral antibiotics. My question is: How long is the recovery time for such a case? I had no information about this case. It's been two weeks and the pain is gone, the gas in the stomach was decreased markedly, but I still see a swelling of the right lower abdomen (especially in the morning when I wake up). Ideas? I have an appointment with the specialist next week.

  1. I had a similar experience. My ruptured appendix and abscess around 1.5 months has been formed. He was diagnosed after a CT scan, and I still have my equipment. I was on antibiotics intravenously for 4 days, then orally for 7 I had to go back on antibiotics, after two weeks, since returned to my stomach of the abscess. I plan to antibiotics for a week now. My pain is finally gone, though I still have some mild gastrointestinal symptoms, and my appetite still comes and goes.

My doctor told me more than a month of recovery was expected. He said the recovery time is much faster with the appendix, if you save the attachment. The abscess had sufficient time to clarify, in cases like ours where it was not possible to drain the abscess. Hope this helps! Hang on, is slowly improving.

  3. You can recover up to 6 weeks and subjected to an interval appendectomy.
